How to Build an Algo Trading Bot With AI — No Coding | Claude Code + Delta Exchange

Can you build a complete algo trading system without knowing how to code? 🔗 Open your Delta Exchange India account: https://ift.tt/MCQHGA6 🔗 Join the Delta Exchange Community: https://ift.tt/wyTrbIG In this video, we turn a trading idea into a working automated BTC grid strategy using Claude Code, VS Code and Delta Exchange India. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Build an Algo Trading Bot Without Coding 00:30 What Is Algo Trading? 01:43 The Trading Idea 02:45 Building the BTC Grid Strategy 05:54 Why Automate the Strategy? 06:29 Setting Up VS Code + Claude Code 08:45 Start Building With AI 09:15 Connect to Delta Exchange Live Data 10:29 Give Claude the Grid Strategy Rules 11:43 AI Builds the Trading Dashboard 13:57 Trading Fees & Scalper Offer 14:48 Connect Your Delta Exchange Account via API 16:34 Create & Start the Grid 17:31 Live Orders Placed Automatically 19:17 Why Risk Management Is Important 20:01 Add Risk Management With AI 21:32 Upgraded Dashboard + Risk Controls 22:26 Positions, Equity Curve & Monitoring 23:00 How to Automate Your Own Trading Ideas 23:32 Run Your Algo 24×7 on Cloud 24:41 Final Takeaways 25:06 What Should We Automate Next? 🤖 PROMPTS USED IN THE VIDEO 📌 PROMPT 1 — INITIAL SETUP I am creating a new trading automation project. Check whether Python is installed. If not, help me install and configure it. Create the required project structure and dependencies, and explain the important steps. 📌 PROMPT 2 — CONNECT TO DELTA EXCHANGE INDIA Connect to Delta Exchange India using its public API and WebSocket feeds. Fetch live BTC futures data including mark price, spot/index price, best bid, best ask and timestamp. Keep the data updating correctly. Do not place trades yet. 📌 PROMPT 3 — BUILD MY GRID STRATEGY Now that the live price is working, I want to add my grid strategy. When I start a grid, use the current BTC price as the center and keep that center fixed. Let me choose levels above/below, grid gap, quantity in contracts, leverage and whether to cover trading fees. Place buy levels below the center and sell levels above it. Fresh entries must remain at their original grid prices. If a buy fills, place a sell exit one level above with the same quantity. If a sell fills, place a buy exit one level below. Once a level fills, don’t place another fresh order there until its exit fills. After the exit, reset the original level as a fresh entry. Don’t create an exit of an exit. If cover cost is on, adjust only orders closing positions, not fresh entries. Prevent duplicate exits if multiple levels fill together. Save grid state so open trades and pending exits survive app restarts. Add a dashboard where I can Create, Start, Pause, Resume, Stop or Flatten a grid. 📌 PROMPT 4 — CREATE API ENVIRONMENT Create a secure .env file for my Delta Exchange India API key and secret. Never expose credentials in logs, dashboard output or source code. Load them through environment variables and verify the connection before live trading. 📌 PROMPT 5 — MAKE THE DASHBOARD MORE USEFUL On each grid page show the real Delta position: position size, average entry, mark price, unrealized P&L and liquidation price. Show open orders with both actual order price and original grid level. Add an equity curve, plus: Closed Trades: entry, exit, quantity, gross P&L, fees and net P&L. All Fills: every execution for detailed tracking. Also compare the bot’s internal position with the real Delta position in the background and show a warning if they don’t match. Keep the dashboard simple. 📌 PROMPT 6 — ADD RISK MANAGEMENT For each grid, add a maximum dollar loss. If exceeded, pause the grid and cancel open orders. Add an optional stop loss based on distance from the original center. If triggered, stop the grid, cancel orders and close the remaining position. Add maximum exposure, but never block an order that reduces exposure. For the whole account add: • Maximum daily loss % • Maximum total capital across grids • Protection if live price stops updating • Order-rate limit Use total account balance for daily-loss tracking, not available balance. If the daily loss limit is hit, pause all grids and cancel all orders. Add a button to reset daily-loss tracking. If I Pause or Flatten a grid, stop new order creation first, then cancel existing orders so the bot doesn’t recreate them. Show all risk settings on the dashboard. ⚠️ IMPORTANT Test new strategies with a dedicated sub-account and minimal capital. Never share API credentials. Review and test AI-generated trading code before using real funds. Algo trading involves market, execution and technology risk. Have a trading strategy you want us to automate next?
